Nicole Kidman is allegedly planning to adopt her third child and her first with husband, Keith Urban.
In its Dec. 13 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Urban is on board with his wife’s desire to have more kids. Even though they have already been blessed with two daughters, the couple thinks that having a third child will make their family complete.
A source claimed that the Little Big Lies star is excited to go through the whole adoption process again because she thinks it’s a magical experience.
“What’s even more amazing this time is around is she’s crazy in love with her husband and they have two amazing girls who are just as excited as she is about having a little brother or sister,” a source said.
At first, Urban was reportedly hesitant about adopting a baby. But he eventually said yes after realizing that conceiving the natural way is extremely difficult.
“Nicole and Keith have been working hard this year, but after lockdown, it’s made them realize what’s important. They’ve wanted to do this for a long time but life, pandemic, and work all got in the way. This year they’re scheduling their commitments around some serious family time,” the source said.
With this, the source claimed that all the adoption papers have already been filed and finalized. And Kidman and Urban are allegedly confident that it wouldn’t take them such a long time to have another baby in their arms.
Rumors about the couple adopting have been rife for years. However, nothing has materialized. In fact, Kidman and Urban have not said anything about wanting to adopt more children.
It wouldn’t also make sense for the couple to want to add to their family since Kidman already has four children. She has two adopted kids with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. And she has two daughters with Urban.
And the tabloid’s claim that Kidman and Urban have been trying to conceive naturally couldn’t be farther from the truth. Kidman is already 54 years old, so it’s unlikely for her to get pregnant.
For now, the couple is just enjoying each other’s company. They were forced to be apart during the pandemic, but they are slowly reverting back to their old schedules.
Kidman and Urban have also joined each other back and forth between the United States and Australia where they work.
