Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder recently made a shocking revelation: they are married!
Even though the co-stars are not legally together, Reeves said that they tied the knot in one of their movies before. And real priests were tasked to officiate their nuptials.
In its Dec. 13 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Reeves’ girlfriend, Alexandra Grant was not thrilled when she heard the news.
“She is very happy that they enjoy a very private and loving romance, and this kind of thing can cast a doubt on how serious Keanu is about her,” the source said.
The insider also said that Reeves and Grant have a wonderful relationship. But even if this is the case, the latter couldn’t help but feel jealous when she hears the actor gush over Ryder.
In fact, it was never easy for Grant to hear Reeves gush about all the other women that he’s worked within the past.
During a previous interview, the Matrix star said that he wants to work with Ryder again.
“She’s such a wonderful artist and person. I think we have good chemistry. And it would be really exciting and interesting to get the chance to perform with her again,” he said.
As of late, there’s no proof that Grant is jealous of Reeves and of all his former co-stars. And there’s also no reason for her to be jealous because she knows that her boyfriend is an actor.
Grant and Reeves have also been together for years so it’s unlikely for the former to only start having issues now over the latter’s career.
So many other rumors have also surrounded Grant and Reeves’ relationship. Some tabloids claimed that the former is just using the latter. Others also said that the couple secretly tied the knot when they didn’t.
During an interview, Reeves said that it’s unlikely for him to ever get married. After all, he was traumatized following the death of his loved ones.
When he was 52, the actor also told Esquire that he thinks it’s too late for him to tie the knot and have kids.
“It's too late. It's over. I'm 52. I'm not going to have any kids. Aging. I'm just starting to get better at it. Just the amount of stuff you have to do before you're dead. ...It's just, 'Oh my God. OK. Where did the time go? How come things are changing? How much time do I have left? What didn't I do?” he said.
