Meghan Markle is allegedly planning to headline her own talk show following her successful stint on the Ellen Show.
In its Dec. 8 issue, Heat UK claimed that Markle had so much fun during her interview with Ellen DeGeneres that she realized that she really belongs in front of the camera.
Markle couldn't allegedly help but feel rejuvenated following her Ellen Show appearance. And she came to the conclusion that headlining her own talk show is her dream job.
The Duchess of Sussex gets excited over the thought of choosing the guests that she wants to interview, as well as talking about issues that are important to her.
The insider also claimed that several brands and networks already reached out to Markle following her appearance on the Ellen Show. And the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t be more thrilled.
Even though some of her critics called her Ellen Show appearance embarrassing especially since she was spotted drinking from a milk bottle and making weird sounds, the Duchess of Sussex just didn’t take things too seriously.
“If the past few years have taught Meghan anything, it’s to be confident in herself and stay true to her roots and core beliefs. She’s proud of her entertainment background and loves being around fellow celebrities. She knows there is no way she and Harry would have been permitted to sit down with Ellen DeGeneres if they were still serving royals and that’s just plain ridiculous in her view,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Markle’s talk show will be fittingly called Tea With Duchess Meghan, which is not a surprise because of her recent appearance alongside Melissa McCarthy.
And since Markle also wants to keep using her royal title to her advantage, all her future books, shows, and appearances will include the Duchess of Sussex title.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There is no proof that Markle is headlining her own talk show anytime soon or that she’s interested in appearing in one.
The Duchess of Sussex obviously had a blast during her appearance on the Ellen Show, but it’s unclear if she will have more television appearances because nothing has been announced as of late.
By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up this story about Markle for clickbait.
