Adele is allegedly struggling to be in the spotlight again after months of not performing on stage.
In its Nov. 22 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that it took the British singer years to deal with her stage fright. But when she finally became comfortable on stage, she was forced to stop performing in front of big crowds due to COVID-19.
“She’s finding it hard being back in the spotlight. But performing on stage again was a whole lot of other issues to go through. She was a bundle of nerves for days leading up to it and didn’t sleep a wink the night before. There’s a lot of pressure on her right now and she’s not finding it easy or fun as it should be,” the source said.
The source added that Adele’s boyfriend, Rich Paul has been nothing but a wonderful support system for the singer. But even if the sports agent is always there for the singer, Adele is still allegedly struggling.
“Adele finds it difficult that all eyes are on her body all the time now, so if she was to put on weight or lose weight, everyone would notice. The biggest worry is how much time she gets to spend with Angelo. Lately, with all the traveling, rehearsals, photoshoots, Adele’s worried about Angelo. To her credit, he’s a very happy and well-rounded boy, but she doesn’t want to put any of that in jeopardy,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It seems as though they concocted several issues that Adele could be dealing with without any proof that she’s going through any of them.
To make their story even more convincing, the tabloid published a photo of Adele looking stressed in her car. Another photo shows Adele covering her face while the paparazzi try to take photos of her.
It’s not uncommon for celebrities to want to hide their faces especially when the paparazzi are stalking them. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s going through something or that she’s struggling to be on stage.
In fact, Adele just completed a successful one-night-only concert that was attended by a handful of A-listers like Selena Gomez, Oprah Winfrey, and more. And there was no indication that she was struggling during that time.
If anything, Adele looked happy and thrilled to be performing for her fans again.
