Macaulay Culkin and his dad, Kit Caulkin had a very difficult relationship for years.

In its Nov. 1 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Culkin has already forgiven his dad for everything that he did to him while he was growing up.

However, this doesn’t mean that the Richie Rich actor still wants to have a relationship with his estranged father.

In fact, a source claimed that the former child star doesn’t also have any plans to introduce his 7-month-old baby to his dad.

And even though Caulkin knows that his dad lives by himself in Oregon, the actor couldn’t care less and has no plans to visit him.

“Kit lives in relative obscurity in Oregon, and his health has been failing for some time after the stroke he had a few years ago. He’s such a mess and a lonely recluse. He hasn’t seen or spoken to Macaulay in many years,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Culkin’s friends are telling him that he should give his dad another chance. However, the actor has no intentions to reconcile with his dad anytime soon.

“He’s already said what he wanted to do about his rotten childhood and how his dad tormented him and made him work nonstop until he cut away from his parents. He says his dad is not a good person, and he doesn’t want him anywhere near his kid,” the source said.

While it is true that Macaulay and Kit have a turbulent relationship, the actor has not talked about his dad in any recent interviews. As such, there’s no proof that he said all these things about his 76-year-old father.

There are other possible reasons why Kit has not met Macaulay and Brenda Song’s daughter and one of them is the COVID-19 virus.

Since Kit is already a senior citizen and Macaulay and Song’s baby is also susceptible to the virus, it might not be a good idea for them to hang out together.

As of late, Macaulay has not also said that he will never introduce his daughter to his dad. It’s possible that the Home Alone actor is still waiting for the perfect time to do so.

For now, Macaulay is busy raising his daughter with Song. And he’s also busy with his acting career and upcoming gigs.
