Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly want to tie the knot again.
In its Oct. 11 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Prince Harry and Markle have been wanting to renew their vows for the longest time.
And since they are now residing in the United States, they want to hold a simpler ceremony that they will have complete control over.
Three years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot at Windsor Castle, and they had to follow certain royal rules and traditions.
But this time around, the couple will have a say on how they want their second wedding to look like.
“This has been in the works for a while, but they needed to let the dust settle after their explosive TV interview. Harry and Meghan want a less formal affair with the guests and traditions they choose, not the ones dictated to them,” the source said.
The insider added that Prince Harry and Markle are currently deciding on their guest list, which will most likely include Melissa McCarthy, Tyler Perry, Katy Perry, and Orland Bloom.
Prince Harry and Markle are also, allegedly, eyeing their $15 million Montecito estate as the venue for their second wedding. And their special day will be held in the spring of 2022.
“Harry and Meghan are eager to say their “I do’s” on American soil, not just to reaffirm their love but to tell the whole world that this is their home for life,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
Prince Harry and Markle are not planning their second wedding in the United States. After all, there’s no need for the couple to reaffirm their love this early on because they just got married three years ago.
By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up this story to show that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to return to the United Kingdom.
The tabloid also wants their readers to know that if Prince Harry and Markle would indeed tie the knot again, they won’t invite members of the royal family to their nuptials.
This isn’t the first time that Prince Harry and Markle are rumored to be renewing their vows. Months ago, other tabloids also made the exact same dubious claim.
However, Prince Harry and Markle have not renewed their vows, and this proves that the tabloids are just speculating about the couple’s marriage.
