Queen Elizabeth is allegedly convincing Prince William and Kate Middleton to move in close to her.
In its September 27 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that the queen is eager to live close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge because she adores them.
The queen, who is already 95 years old, is also entertained by Prince William and Middleton’s three kids and that’s why she wants to always be around them.
A source claimed that Prince William and Middleton want to do as the queen desires that’s why they are already eyeing properties close to Windsor Castle.
“They’d be so close to Eton for George, so he doesn’t have to board if they decided to send him there and a short drive from Kate’s family,” the source said.
The insider also said that Prince William and Middleton are aware that they need to take on more responsibilities now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working as senior royals.
And one of the adjustments that they have to make is to live close to Her Majesty because this is just practical for everyone.
Unfortunately, it seems that Prince Charles is feeling salty regarding the whole living situation of Prince William, Middleton, and the queen. After all, he doesn’t allegedly like the idea that his son is so close to the monarch because he could convince her to leapfrog Prince Charles to the throne.
“Charles is now dealing with William literally moving in with the queen. He knows it’s nothing personal – both the queen and William have always put the monarchy before all else. But even Charles has to admit his leverage within the family is slipping,” the source said.
According to the source, there are also whispers that Prince Charles would never ascend the throne. After all, a lot of Britons do not want him to be their king and have been lobbying for Prince William to take over after the queen passes away.
And just recently, Prince Charles was also involved in a major controversy because of his former aide, Michael Fawcett. He is being accused of knowing Fawcett’s illegal dealings.
But regardless of what the tabloid says, there is no proof that the queen would ever leapfrog Prince Charles to the throne. And there’s also no indication that she is encouraging Prince William and Middleton to move close to her home.
