Queen Elizabeth allegedly abandoned Prince Charles and decreed the new king-in-waiting as Prince William after the heir to the throne was involved in a huge scandal.
In its September 27 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Prince Charles offered to sell a knighthood to a Saudi billionaire for $2.4 million. Prince Charles also allegedly promised to give the billionaire support for his citizenship application if he would give him a huge sum of money.
“This money-for-honors atrocity is the last straw for Her Majesty. She’s already had serious reservations about Charles’ ability to take the throne, but this outrage is the final nail in his coffin. The explosive allegations prove her instincts are right. The queen can’t trust her firstborn. Her only option is to bypass him,” the source said.
A source also claimed that Prince Charles’ former staff, Michael Fawcett may have been the one directly involved in the money laundering scandal. But it’s highly likely that he was aware of what he was doing.
After all, the dad of two was also willing to do anything for money, which makes him vulnerable to being caught in another scandal once he ascends the throne.
“I’m told Her Majesty won’t listen to attempts to blame Fawcett. In her mind, Charles is just using Fawcett as a go-between to line his pockets. She’s now urging William to move his family to Windsor Castle, where she’s now living. That way she can train him and Kate for their new role as king and queen,” the source said.
With this, the tabloid then threw shade at Prince Harry because he’s allegedly not like his older brother, Prince William who’s willing to step up to the plate and take on more royal duties.
Prince Harry, on the other hand, quit The Firm together with his wife, Meghan Markle when things became difficult.
At the end of the day, the tabloid stressed that Prince Charles has been left out in the cold just like Prince Harry. But the irony of the situation is that the father and son could support each other but aren’t because they are not on good terms.
However, none of the tabloid’s claims are accurate. Prince Charles hasn’t been proven to have pocketed millions of pounds.
It’s also not true that the queen bypassed him for the throne in favor of Prince William.
