George Clooney and Amal Clooney allegedly had their second wedding in Italy recently.
In its August 2 issue, New Idea claimed that the couple invited their closest friends and some family members to attend their special day.
The tabloid was unable to provide concrete proof that the Clooneys exchanged their “I do’s” again. But they insisted that Amal’s white dress was what gave away the couple’s alleged wedding.
“Word on the street is that it was a vow renewal, but it also looked like they had something extra to announce. She definitely looked like she had a baby bump,” the source said.
The insider added that George and Amal have been living separately because of their careers. And the fact that they hung out publicly in Italy suggests that they were celebrating something important.
“It wouldn’t be a surprise if they renewed their vows to celebrate coming through it all. And if she’s pregnant, they’d be overjoyed. The twins have been pestering her for another sibling,” the source said.
This isn’t the first time that the tabloids claimed that George and Amal are renewing their vows or that they are expecting another baby.
Years ago, some tabloids alleged that George proposed to Amal again after the couple got into a heated argument.
Other tabloids also insisted that Amal is pregnant with baby number three after she managed to convince George to have more children.
However, several months have passed and Amal never sported a growing baby bump. If the human rights lawyer was really pregnant then, she would’ve already given birth by now.
The fact that Amal and George still have two children proves that the tabloids’ claims are incorrect.
And when it comes to their wedding, George and Amal have only been married once. If they renewed their vows, more reputable sources would’ve already reported on it.
Meanwhile, George and Amal recently made headlines amid reports that they are now residents of Provence.
Didier Bremond, the mayor of Brignoles, France officially welcomed the couple into the neighborhood.
“Welcome to Brignoles! It's now official, George and Amal Clooney are residents of our beautiful community. I have had the pleasure of meeting them, by their invitation, at Domaine du Canadel, where they will soon set down their suitcases,” Bremond said.
George and Amal received their contract after a recent court battle against another potential buyer of Provence’s Domaine du Canadel.
