Amid the success and fame of his K-pop group, BTS' Jungkook is now receiving praise from the BTS ARMY and the rest of the fandom for his new achievements. As it happens, the K-pop member has been named as the "first male idol" to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.
According to The Independent News, the K-pop artist was able to achieve the milestone even with an "unprompted b-side." So, it is truly an impressive feat for BTS, especially the Jungkook.
The single titled, Euphoria, is the track of focus in these reports. It was also revealed that it is now the "third most-streamed" piece on Spotify under the "Korean soloist" category.
Aside from these recognitions from the said music-streaming platform, BB World also names BTS' Jungkook as the artist who has the longest-charting song on digital song sales. With these records at hand, Euphoria is now the "most successful" song of BTS in terms of charts.
As noted by All Kpop, BTS' Jungkook, along with his new solo, has been able to obtain over 1 million "unique listeners" on Genie, which is a South Korean streaming platform. Not to mention, HBO's series material titled, Euphoria featured the titular track on its finale.
It was further revealed that the track has been "critically acclaimed" both by fans and other celebrities all over the globe. Accordingly, it is not surprising as to why BTS' Jungkook, together with the rest of the K-pop group, is now more embraced by the fandom, especially the ARMY. Some sources even referred to the K-pop artist as the "achiever of firsts."
Since BTS made their entrance to the music industry in 2013, they have been widely recognized in almost all parts of the globe. As reported, the popular K-pop group has been regarded as the "second global artist" to top the Social 50, next to Justin Bieber.
BTS comes in second to the Sorry singer since they only totaled to 150 weeks as opposed to Justin Bieber's 163 weeks. Even so, it is still a huge accomplishment for the group, given that they have been able to surpass Taylor Swift and Rihanna as the artists only summed to 28 and 21 weeks, respectively.
As of the moment, BTS' Jungkook, as well as the group's other members, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, are in Japan for their two-day fan meeting. They are expected to return shortly to Seoul, Korea, for their performance at the upcoming 2019 Melon Music Awards, which will be held on Nov. 30.
