Britney Spears' mom, Lynne Spears and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, celebrate her victory in her latest court appearance. The Princess of Pop has now been given a chance to choose her own lawyer in her fight to remove her father, Jamie Spears, as her conservator and to end her conservatorship.
Lynne and Jamie took to social media to subtly show their support to Britney. Though they did not mention her name, the quotes they shared seemed to have something to do with the pop diva's win.
"The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it," Lynne shared on Instagram-a bible verse from the book of John.
Jamie, on the other hand, posted somewhat two cryptic quotes on Instagram Story, Us Weekly noted.
"Once you choose hope, anything's possible," she said in the first post. "Dear Lord, Can we end this bull s-t once and for all. Amen," she added in the second.
Britney herself celebrated her victory in a post also on Instagram.
"Coming along, folks ... coming along!!!!! New with real representation...I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!!" she said. "Thank you to my fans who are supporting me...You have no idea what it means to me to be supported by such awesome fans !!!! God bless you all !!!!!"
The "Toxic" singer added that her horseback riding and cartwheeling were her way to honor the court ruling. It was also the first time she used the hashtag #FreeBritney since her fans made it to show their support.
Meanwhile, it was not the first time that Jamie showed her support to her sister. After Britney's first appearance in a court hearing in June, she also posed a warm message for the 39-year-old star.
Despite the criticisms she has been experiencing, she said she had loved, adored and supported Britney since she was born. Before anything of this happened, she added they were already sisters, so she wanted nothing but her happiness no matter what she wanted to do.
Lynne, on the other hand, said she had "mixed feelings" about it.
In her most recent court appearance, Britney said she wanted her father charged for allegedly abusing her conservatorship, BBC reported. She added she would make press charges because she was angry and she would surely do it.
