Prince Harry was allegedly trying to get on the royal family’s good side that’s why he planned to bring Archie to the United Kingdom for Princess Diana’s memorial.
In its June 30 issue, royal biographer Robert Lacey told Closer UK that he’s confident that the Duke of Sussex will bring Archie to his hometown as his way of extending an olive branch at the royal family.
“I think Archie coming will be a great diffuser of the situation. And the decision to bring him could be the very first sign of guilt from Harry. I think he still believes that what he and Meghan did was the right thing,” he said.
However, more reputable sources confirmed earlier this week that Prince Harry is already in the United Kingdom, but Archie isn’t with him.
Now, Lacey has also predicted that Prince Harry will stay in the United Kingdom for a few days after Princess Diana’s memorial.
And he will use this time to reunite with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, father, Prince Charles, and older brother, Prince William.
However, Prince Harry’s whereabouts in the country have not been revealed. The only thing that’s for certain is that he will be attending Princess Diana’s memorial service early next month.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex surprised the Diana Award Honorees this week, saying that his late mother would be proud of all of them.
“I'm truly honored to be celebrating your work, your commitment to change-making, and the vital role that you've taken in representing a new generation of humanitarianism. Later this week, my brother and I are recognizing what would have been our mom’s 60th birthday,” he said.
Prince Harry also said that his late mother believed that the youth have the power to change the world.
The Duke of Sussex also mentioned his wife, Meghan Markle in his speech even though she won’t be present at the memorial service.
He said that he and his wife believe that the world is changing for the good of everyone.
Based on Prince Harry’s statement, it seems that only he and Prince William will be attending Princess Diana’s memorial.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles might not be there for very obvious reasons.
When Princess Diana passed away in 1997, she was no longer considered as a senior working royal. And she and Prince Charles have already been legally divorced.
