Prince Charles is allegedly feels threatened by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and their two young children, Archie and Lili.

In its July 5 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Prince Charles decided to not give his grandchildren royal titles because he thinks they could become more popular than him in the future.

Prince Charles is allegedly saying that his decision was due to his desire to have a slimmed down monarchy. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not buying his explanation.

“Charles told Harry and William that his choice to slim down the royal lineup is purely financial, but Harry and Meghan aren’t buying it. Charles is threatened by Harry and Meghan, and subsequently by their children. He’s never liked what Meghan represents and wants to keep her as far from the monarchy as possible,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Prince Charles has always seen Prince Harry as a rebel. So even he was still young, the heir to the throne already knew that his youngest son wouldn’t be a good fit for the monarchy.

In recent weeks, Prince Harry has also been attacking his dad during his interviews.

He previously shared Prince Charles’ remark when he complained about his struggles as a royal.

Instead of telling his son that he wants him to have a better life, Prince Charles said that he also struggled as a young boy so it’s not unusual for his sons to experience the same thing.

Now, the tabloid is claiming that Prince Charles is worried about what Prince Harry would say next.

“Charles has been on edge about what Harry will do or say next, so he’s taking the bull by the horns. Harry and Meghan feel what he’s done is a huge dig,” th source said.

However, one should be wary of the tabloid’s claims. Prince Charles hasn’t made any decision about his grandchildren’s royal titles because he hasn’t been crowned as king.

Only the king and queen have the power to bestow royal titles on the younger members of the royal family.

In related news, Prince Harry also made headlines this week after he arrived in the United Kingdom ahead of Princess Diana’s memorial.

The Duke of Sussex arrived a couple of days early because he still needs to quarantine in his home country.

As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Prince Charles will also attend his ex-wife’s memorial.
