Brad Pitt allegedly wants to focus on his heart now that a judge already granted him joint custody of his children.

In its June 21 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Pitt was unable to date around for years because he was focused on fighting for the custody of his kids.

But after the judge ruled a decision in his favor, Pitt couldn’t help but celebrate.

“There’s no question in Brad’s mind that he has won and the ruling will stand. He’s thrilled to be awarded joint custody of the kids. The nightmare is finally over,” the source said.

Since he can now breathe better, Pitt allegedly wants to focus on pursuing singer Andra Day.

After seeing each other at the Oscars in April, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor allegedly became smitten with the singer.

And after the two got to talk, they also allegedly realized that they have a lot of things in common.

“They realized they have a lot in common and decided to stay in touch, so who knows where it could lead. He’s in a good head space right now and definitely open for romance,” the source said.

The insider said that Pitt is just so happy to have moved past his longstanding custody battle against Jolie. He’s now looking at every day from a much better perspective, and Day is just the icing on his cake.

After all, he never expected to meet the singer at the Oscars two months ago.

This isn’t the first time that Pitt and Day were linked to each other. Last month, OK! magazine alleged that the actor wanted to schedule a meeting with Day because he wants to work with her.

During their conversation, the dad of six also allegedly wants to get to know Day on a personal level. And he also wants to go back to the dating scene.

So, regardless if it works out with Day, Pitt just wants to get himself out there again now that he no longer needs to worry about Jolie.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There is no indication that Pitt is interested in dating Day. And there’s also no proof that the Ad Astra actor wants to take work with the singer.

It is also unclear if Pitt and Day are even friends, to begin with.
