Kim Kardashian was recently sued by her former workers for allegedly not paying them on time, for not allowing them to take breaks, and for not remitting their taxes.
Now, in its June 14 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Kardashian is passing the blame on her ex-husband, Kanye West.
A source alleged that Kardashian has no record of not paying her staff. In fact, she pays all of them early. So, the fact that at least seven of her former staff members are suing her suggests that something is not going right.
The insider claimed that the reality TV star thinks West has something to do with the lawsuit. After all, the rapper was allegedly the one that convinced Kardashian’s staff to sue her.
“Kim believed Kanye had taken care of this and he dropped the ball, leaving her to look like the boss from hell. She blames Kanye for this and she’s hopping mad at him,” the source said.
According to the source, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is humiliated by the lawsuit. After all, she’s studying to become a future lawyer so the allegations against her do not look good on her resume.
“Kim’s going to take the bar exam in 2022, so she can become more involved as a legal advocate for people who have been victims of the justice system. But this hardly looks good for a future attorney,” the source said.
However, a rep for Kardashian has already denied the claims of her former staff members. The rep said that Kardashian didn’t also hire the workers directly. Rather, they were hired through a vendor. So, it is possible that the vendor was the one that didn’t give the workers their rightful benefits.
Another source close to the mom of four also said that Kardashian treats all her workers fairly and justly. And Kardashian also hopes that the matter will be resolved amicably.
There is no indication that Kardashian is blaming her ex-husband for the lawsuit. After all, the rapper has also been sued by some of his former workers on similar allegations.
Kardashian and West announced their divorce weeks ago citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has also agreed to share custody of their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
The rapper also said that he won’t be seeking spousal support from his ex-wife, which proves that he wants their divorce proceedings to be as amicable as possible.
