Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are like a match made in heaven. However, a tabloid recently claimed that their marriage isn’t always rainbows and unicorns.

In its May 24 issue, New Idea claimed that Powell is struggling in Australia because he cannot see his family. In fact, he has no idea when he will be able to see them again or when he can introduce his daughter to everyone.

A source claimed that Powell looked downcast during his recent errands run in Australia. And this was allegedly more than enough indication that he wasn’t OK.

The insider claimed that being separated from his family is wearing Powell thin. FaceTime calls used to be enough, but they could no longer ease his loneliness. 

“It’s very painful for him and so far there’s no end in sight as to when they might be able to come and visit,” the source said.

The publication revealed that Powell’s family, who are in the United States, last visited him in January 2020 right before the pandemic. This means that they weren’t there when Powell and Irwin tied the knot. They weren’t there either when the couple welcomed their bundle of joy.

In return, Powell has also missed out on some important milestones in the United States. He wasn’t there when his brother Cameron, welcomed his daughter Riley.

However, Powell’s recent photo when he ran errands in Australia cannot be an indication that he’s living a sad life or that he misses his family. After all, it’s more unusual for the new dad to be all smiles in his car or while he’s walking when he’s by himself.

Powell’s recent social media posts also show that he’s enjoying his time in Australia with his wife and daughter. He regularly shares snaps of his little family, and they are always smiling from ear to ear.

On Mother’s Day, Powell even paid tribute to his amazing wife for everything that she has done for him and their daughter.

In his caption, Powell said that he and Grace are very lucky and grateful to have Irwin in their lives. He also professed his love for his wife. 

Powell captioned a photo of him with his arms wrapped around Irwin. The latter is cradling their daughter in her arms while Grace is fast asleep. 

Days later, Powell shared another photo of his wife and daughter with their adorable Cocker Spaniel.
