Prince Harry may have agreed to relocate to the United States with Meghan Markle but this doesn’t mean that he’s having the time of his life while he’s there.
According to royal author Duncan Larcombe, the Duke of Sussex must be feeling out of place in Los Angeles. After all, Prince Harry is being viewed only as Markle’s plus one.
“Harry didn’t go to university and he hasn’t had much work experience other than being in the army and charity work. Being in Hollywood is likely to make him feel like a duck out of the water,” Larcombe told New Idea.
While in the United States, there are also claims that Markle will continue pursuing acting opportunities. But when she married Prince Harry, she decided to quit her role in “Suits.”
“Meghan is worried that she won’t be taken seriously as an actress. She has made it clear to her team that she will only work with A-list directors, but she doesn’t understand that this doesn’t necessarily mean they want to work with her,” a source told Daily Mail.
Some sources are also convinced that it’s only a matter of time before Markle relaunches her lifestyle blog, The Tig.
As senior working royals, Prince Harry and Markle weren’t allowed to engage in other jobs. But after their Megxit in January, the royal couple is free to do whatever they want.
Weeks ago, they announced the name of their new foundation, Archewell. The foundation will pick up where Sussex Royal left off. As of late, the official launch of Archewell has yet to be announced. This will likely happen after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
When it comes to their home, Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly living in a secluded compound in Los Angeles. However, they haven’t bought their own property and they are still scouting for a place that they can call home.
Meanwhile, the royal couple made headlines this week after they celebrated Archie’s first birthday. To commemorate the occasion, Save the Children UK released a video of the Duchess of Sussex reading “Duck! Rabbit!” to her only son.
While reading the children’s book to Archie, Markle is heard calling her son “Arch.”
Eagle-eyed royal fans also noticed a sticker on Archie’s book that says “Archie’s Book Club.” They, later on, realized that the sticker was a gift from Prince Harry and Markle’s good friend, Oprah Winfrey.
