Sharon Osbourne recently quit The Talk after she was embroiled in a controversy about Meghan Markle and Piers Morgan.
Osbourne served as host on The Talk for 10 years. But she was forced to quit the program after Morgan claimed that she was bullied out of her job.
The controversial host defended her friend, Morgan following the latter’s strong remarks about Markle. Unfortunately, the comments did not sit well with Osbourne's co-hosts and the heads of the program.
In its April 19 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Osbourne feels humiliated.
“She’s going through a lot of emotions ranging from humiliation and devastation to bitterness and anger. And she’s ready for the world to hear what she believes is the truth. She was set up and pushed out,” the source said.
Osbourne was also accused of being racist after she had an on-air spot with her co-host Sheryl Underwood. Shortly after, some A-listers also came forward to accuse Osbourne of using Asian and racial slurs frequently.
The former The Talk host denied the allegations. But she also tweeted an apology to those who she might have hurt. Osbourne also admitted that she panicked because it felt like she was being accused as a racist.
The Talk has now started an investigation into the matter. And the program will go on a lengthy hiatus to ensure that all the issues are dealt with before going on air again.
And when they return, there are claims that Osbourne’s official replacement will be named.
There are rumors that Kris Jenner will be joining the cast of The Talk in the coming months. Since Keeping Up With the Kardashians has officially wrapped up filming their final season, the tabloid claimed that the momager has so much time in her hands.
But what the tabloid didn’t mention is that Jenner and her children are in talks with Disney to release a new reality TV show. This means that she doesn’t have that much time in her hands after all.
Other than Jenner, there are also whispers that Bethenny Frankel could join the cast of The Talk. The 50-year-old had a taste of hosting a program on Bravo for two years.
A source also claimed that Lisa Rinna is willing to fill Osbourne’s shoes. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is very talkative and her personality could allegedly boost the show’s ratings.
Nene Leakes name is also being thrown around as Osbourne’s replacement since she has guest hosted on The Talk on multiple occasions.
