Ryan Seacrest allegedly has a huge crush on Maria Menounos even though he’s aware that she’s already married.

In its April 19 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Seacrest freaked out his Live With Kelly and Ryan co-host, Kelly Ripa when he gushed over Menounos during one of their episodes.

A source said that the American Idol host could not hide his admiration for Menounos because he thinks she’s smart, talented, and beautiful.

The insider added that Seacrest has no plans to date Menounos because he knows that she’s happily married to Keven Undergaro. However, he would be thrilled to date someone exactly like her.

“Ryan doesn’t want to date Maria. But he makes no secret he’d be dancing on air to have someone like her, which is kind of creepy. But he can’t help it. Maria’s everything he’s always wanted in a woman,” the source said.

According to the source, it is not Seacrest’s style to hit on women who are already taken. But he’s been trying to imitate Undergaro’s qualities so that Menounos would take an interest in him platonically.

The insider also alleged that since Seacrest cannot date Menounos, he would be open to working with her instead. In fact, the radio host is already thinking about replacing Ripa with Menounos.

However, it is important to note that Ripa had been on Live even before Seacrest. The latter just replaced Ripa’s former partner after he decided to quit the program.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just linking Seacrest to Menounos for the very reason that he’s single. He and his ex-girlfriend, Shayna Taylor split last year.

Shortly after, the tabloids started accusing Seacrest of not taking good care of himself because he prioritizes his work the most. They also alleged that this one of the reasons why Taylor broke up with him.

However, the tabloid’s claims about Seacrest's well-being couldn’t be farther from the truth. Following his split from Taylor, a source told Us Weekly that the exes split amicably. In fact, they are still friends today.

Prior to their breakup, Seacrest greeted Taylor on live television on their third anniversary. He revealed that their relationship wasn’t perfect because they’ve been on and off throughout those years.

However, Seacrest also said that he’s committed to getting this right with Taylor. Unfortunately, this isn’t how their love story ended.
