This quarantine has been a test of sorts for many relationships. Being with your significant other's for 24 hours a day can be too much for many, but apparently not for actress Heather Rae Young.
According to E Online, the 'Selling Sunset' star cannot wait to get married to her boyfriend once the quarantine ends. Of course, she and Tarek El Mousa are not even engaged yet but she says she cannot wait to be engaged too. While they have not yet made any formal announcement, apparently, they have talked about marriage and all that while in quarantine.
She says, "I don't want to ruin any surprises but we definitely talk about it. I don't want to put pressure because he knows I'm 100% the one, but I think it'll happen." And while she does not know when it will happen, she hopes it will be sooner than later.
The couple had not been together for very long but they have already moved in together. In fact, the Daily Mail reports that the 'Flip or Flop' star has sold the home he used to share with his ex-wife and moved into a rental home in Newport.
The two have been dating since July 2019. They met because of their love for boats and when Tarek first asked her out, she was actually with someone else at the time. But they soon found themselves in each others' arms. Now they are living together, renting a beach house where they plan to live for at least a year before they decide to buy a house for themselves. A plus for the house is that it is actually near the house of Tarek's ex-wife, Christine, and their children.
Christine and Tarek were married for eight years before they decide to finalize their divorce in 2018. Christine went on to marry Ant Anstead and they now have a child.
For those who are wondering how Heather and Christine are, it turns out they actually met when Tarek and Heather began dating. They even text each other about the kids and take walks together, a real example of a modern family.
Christine and Tarek are still shooting 'Flip or Flop' together even though they are no longer together. The ninth season will be shown in August of this year. Meanwhile. Heather also has her own Netflix series 'Selling Sunset' which is about the high-end properties being sold in the LA area by Oppenheim Properties.
