Jennifer Aniston has always been known to spread awareness on the COVID-19 pandemic, and she has once again urged people to wear a facemask before venturing out.
The Friends alum took to the Stories section of her Instagram handle this Tuesday. The 51-year-old shared this adorable picture with her millions of followers.
She warned her fans that the worst is not yet over and urged them to wear a face mask before stepping out of their homes. She posted a selfie with her close friend Courteney Cox, and the duo was seen wearing matching blue face masks.
It was an old picture as the former co-stars of Friends had posted the same picture in July last year. Meanwhile, there were criticisms from some quarters when she posted a picture of a coronavirus themed ornament on her Christmas tree some time back.
Jen was called “foolish” and “out of touch” for sharing the photo of a COVID-themed ornament when the pandemic was at its peak, according to Daily Mail. A fan felt she was referring to the pandemic as if it was a baby shower. Others felt that celebrities were out of touch with the pandemic's horrifying consequences and lived in a different world altogether. ‘
However, there were some followers who were supportive of her and mentioned that the actress had done a lot to spread consciousness about the deadly pandemic. Jennifer Aniston has always been encouraging people not to step out without wearing face masks.
The actress had also shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from her series The Morning Show this month. The Apple TV+ show has been inspired by the book called Top Of The Morning: Inside The Cutthroat World Of Morning TV by Brian Stelter. Jen is seen playing the role of a TV anchor called Alex Levy.
Her character is compelled to retain her job when one of her co-workers, Mitch Kessler, is shown the door for alleged sexual misconduct. Reese Witherspoon portrays the character of Bradley Jackson in the series and also has an important role.
Both Jen and Witherspoon were nominated at the Golden Globe Awards for their respective roles. However, the actresses lost to Olivia Coleman, who got the award for her role in The Crown, according to another report by Daily Mail.
In other news, Jennifer Aniston was one of the several celebs who shared that they preferred to spend the New Year’s first weekend at home. The stunning Friends alum took to the Stories section of her Instagram handle and stated that her pet dog accompanied her over the holiday, according to PINKVILLA.
