Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have endured a very painful year. 2020 was a year full of change for the two, from announcing their planned separation from the British Royal Firm to ultimately giving up their home and life in the UK and moving to the US, as well as the bombshell news of the miscarriage of the Duchess of Sussex suffered months after their big move.
Their story has become emblazoned with so many scandals, and the couple has been overly scrutinized over the year. Now, they have chosen to stay reclusive in the US, dodging the media, and only allowing a few people into their life.
The couple purchased their first home in the US in an exclusive suburbia in Montecito. Apparently, the home they have chosen is also home to many A-listers.
One of their actor neighbor Rob Lowe shared his recent run-in with Prince Harry. The ‘Parks and Recreation’ star sat down with James Corden on a virtual guesting for his late-night talk show.
Lowe shared during the sit down that he saw the British royal driving in Montecito rocking a ponytail. He eventually followed the Prince to his and Meghan Markle’s home standing by his claim that the Duke was becoming more and more casual every day.
Corden was quick to doubt the claims made by Lowe, saying that it could have been another person.
Lowe also shared during the interview that Prince Harry is a very reclusive person, comparing him to the mythical Loch Ness monster.
"He's been very reclusive. Seeing him in the neighborhood is like seeing the Loch Ness Monster, and I finally saw him. I finally saw him driving his car,” Lowe told James.
It is no wonder why Prince Harry is reclusive with his life in California. Meghan Markle as well has expressed her desire to continue being a private citizen away from the limelight.
Carolyn Durand, one of the authors of the unauthorized biography ‘Finding Freedom,’ shared to Grazia over the weekend that Meghan is continuing to enjoy motherhood but finds it hard as her life is being continually uprooted.
On the one hand, Prince Harry has to face scrutiny over his relationship with his brother Prince William, which people believe is to be still on the bitter side of things.
There are reports saying otherwise, but until the brothers collectively show a united front, the rumors will continue to flourish.
Currently, the royal duo continues to live in California with their son Archie Harrison.
