Meghan Markle, allegedly, feels that she and her family deserve a break this year.
After everything that they’ve been through in 2020, Markle wants to go on a super-luxe getaway with Prince Harry and Archie this year.
In its Jan. 9 issue, Heat UK claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eyeing a trip to Hawaii or Fiji.
However, they won’t finalize anything until after the coronavirus pandemic has been addressed.
A source told the tabloid that Markle and Prince Harry both feel that they deserve to have a break because they’ve been through a lot.
After announcing their Megxit in January 2020, the couple attended their final royal engagement in March of the same year.
Prince Harry and Markle then relocated to Canada for a couple of months before moving to Beverly Hills.
From there, Prince Harry and Markle purchased their first house in Santa Barbara. And they also signed multi-year deals with Netflix and Spotify.
Before the holidays, Markle revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in July via her op-ed piece for The New York Times.
Despite all the things that they experienced last year, Prince Harry and Markle feel that they’re so strong as a couple to weather any storm.
And they also believe that going on a short break will keep them recharged to face the challenges that will come their way.
“They’re feeling incredibly positive right now and are clinging to the belief that life will return to normal in 2021. There’s this real sense of gratitude and pride that they took on so many challenges last year and came out stronger than before,” the source said.
The insider also said that Prince Harry and Markle have this “us against the world” mentality. And they both feel that a trip with their son is exactly what they need.
It is also possible for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to try and expand their brood during their trip to Hawaii or Fiji.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Prince Harry and Markle do not normally share their travel plans ahead of their trips.
So, it’s unlikely for the tabloid to know all these details.
And since the world is still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, it is also unlikely for Prince Harry and Markle to already be thinking about their next vacation.
