While Emma Stone may have been able to keep her marriage a secret for a time, it looks like she will not be as successful with her pregnancy. Reports are coming out that the 32-year-old actress is expecting her first child.
Us Weekly reports that photos of the actress cradling a baby bump have surfaced. If the news is confirmed, this will be her first child with Saturday Night Live writer Dave McCary, who she quietly married in September last year.
Quoting a source, the publication said that Stone is looking forward to becoming a mother. The source also said that the actress has been “glowing” since the confirmation. Stone is also reportedly exercising and staying active during her pregnancy.
E! Online says that neither Stone nor McCary’s representatives have confirmed the news, pointing out that the couple has been very private about their relationship throughout the past couple of years.
Aside from keeping their marriage a secret, the couple had also surprised the public by revealing their engagement back in 2019. The couple simply shared a photo of themselves on McCary’s Instagram account with Stone showing off her engagement ring.
Other than that, the couple has rarely made any appearances that would put them in the headlines. Neither Stone nor McCary has posted about each other on their respective social media accounts.
Stone is just the latest Hollywood celebrity to be seen cradling a baby bump in the past few weeks. Conservationist and television personality Bindi Irwin has also been seen cradling her baby bump, although this image is one Irwin herself has shared with her social media followers.
The “bumpdate” that the 22-year-old posted on her Instagram account was accompanied by a caption where she said she was grateful for all her followers and the support they’ve shown her during her pregnancy.
Irwin also shared that since she was already in the 26th week of her pregnancy in the photo, the baby in her womb would probably now be the same size as a shingleback lizard. The conservationist also shared a photo of the lizard to give her followers an idea of how big her baby is now.
Even before the “bumpdate,” Irwin had already been very generous about sharing her pregnancy journey with her followers, posting a video of her getting an ultrasound as well as sharing a sonogram image of the child in her womb.
