Angelina Jolie has six children. Three of them are adopted. Now, new rumors have it that Jolie is planning to add more in his brood of six.

Now that her oldest son, Maddox, has gone to college in another country, the Maleficent actress is reportedly planning to adopt another child. According to Globe, Jolie has been planning this years ago when she and Brad Pitt are still together. However, the actor, allegedly, objected because he felt that their six kids are enough.

The tabloid cited a source as saying the Salt actress has made "preliminary inquiries" in several orphanages in different countries such as Syria, Haiti, Ethiopia and other parts of Africa for her plan. She is, allegedly, using his contact at the United Nations to help her cut through the red tape. Angelina has been a special envoy for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees for years now.

Apparently, Jolie's motivation in adopting baby No. 7 is to give the child the same life that she gave to Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, and Zahara, 14. Jolie adopted seven-month-old Maddox in 2002 in Cambodia after visiting the country for the filming of her Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie and on a UNHCR field mission.

Then, she, along with Brad Pitt, adopted six-month-old Zahara from an orphanage in Ethiopia in 2005. In 2007, Jolie adopted another son, three-year-old Pax Thien, from an orphanage in Vietnam. Jolie and Pitt also shared three children: Shiloh 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.

"She's so very proud of her children and all they've accomplished, especially their humanitarian efforts, and she wants to give another child the same opportunity," the source said.

Gossip Cop debunked the adoption story. The site checked with an individual close to Jolie, who confirmed that the actress is not planning to bring home another kid in her home and she is not in talks with orphanages.

The fact-checking publication also pointed out that, in the past years, several tabloids have claimed the same story about Jolie. In 2018, there was also a false report that Jolie was adopting a little boy from war-torn country, Syria. That didn't happen.

A month ago, the Globe also reported that the 44-year-old actress was adopting another baby once her divorce from Pitt is finalized. There were also earlier reports that Jolie has been wanting to adopt another child for a long time but she put her plans on hold until Maddox went off to college.

In August 2019, Maddox started his college life at Yonsei University in Seoul. Her mother emotionally accompanied him on her first day in college.

Jolie is currently busy filming her upcoming star-studded Marvel movie, The Eternals. The film began production in July 2019 and wrapped up earlier this month. The Eternals is scheduled for release in 2020.
