Ireland Baldwin steps forward to support her stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, amid the Spanish accent criticism. The 25-year-old model took social media to defend the 36-year-old author following the backlash regarding faking her accent and lying about her different name.

The backlash didn't go well with Ireland as she said it is pathetic that people want to play detective games. The Comedy Central Roast Of Alec Baldwin star said that digging into someone's personal life without knowing who has raised them and how they have been raised is sad.

The model shared this message in a video through her Instagram story and acknowledged that people are going through a difficult phase in life. Ireland admitted that even though the holiday season is going on, people are still in depression for various reasons.

Moreover, she explained that gossiping about someone's life is the last thing anyone needs to do. In fact, she addressed the entire controversy as a "stupid" thing to even discuss. She emphasized again on not knowing Hilaria well and still commenting on her personal life is not acceptable.

“This person has dug up old tweets from Hilaria’s high school peers, and they all say one thing about her that she’s really kind when they reflect back on their experience with her,” Ireland continued bashing people who criticized her stepmom.

She continued that Hilaria is a good human being and a caring person. She also mentioned that The Living Clearly Method author has always been respectful about her and Alec Baldwin's relationship. Ireland noted that she shares a great relationship with her stepmother.

Although she further said that she could be a horrible, terrible, and malicious person who could tear people down, but she is not the way people think. In fact, Ireland couldn't hold back and praised Hilaria for being a wonderful mother who takes care of her father and her children. Ireland explained that this is the most important thing that matters to her.

A couple of days ago, Hilaria also took Instagram to talk about her heritage following the accusation claimed by a Twitter user. In the video posted on social media, Hilaria set the record straight and said that she was born in Boston and not in Spain while she grew up in Spain and Massachusetts with her family. She admitted that her sibling and parents stay in Spain while she chose to stay in the United States.
