Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are, allegedly, looking forward to getting some rest in the New Year.

In its Jan. 4 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Prince Harry and Markle will be heading to the beach to ring in the New Year.

A source claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ready for their break.

And they’re also looking forward to relaxing on a warm beach somewhere.

Prince Harry and Markle also want to catch up on sleep and soak up in nature’s beauty.

During their alleged beach trip, the Sussexes hope to reconnect as a couple.

“It’ll be a wonderful way of symbolizing their fresh start,” the source said.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle haven’t shared their plans for the New Year.

And it is unlikely for the couple to share details about their plans because they don’t normally do this.

In fact, the Sussexes stayed mum about their Christmas plans. And they just surprised their fans with an adorable Christmas card on Dec. 25.

But even though Prince Harry and Markle haven’t confirmed or denied their beach trip, one thing’s for sure. The Duchess of Sussex’s resolution last year is reportedly still her resolution this year.

According to Town & Country, the Suits alum has some relatable bad habits that she needs to break.

In her former lifestyle blog The Tig, Markle said that her two resolutions every year is to stop swearing and to stop biting her nails.

Markle revealed that she usually catches herself cursing when she’s overworked or when she’s had a few drinks.

In 2016, Markle said that she wants to run a marathon, re-learn French, and to approach life more playfully.

It is unclear if Markle was able to do her plans, but things haven’t been easy for her since then.

Shortly after she wrote her resolutions in 2016, it was revealed that she and Prince Harry are dating.

Markle was immediately accused of a lot of things because of the color of her skin and the fact that she’s a divorcee.

At one point, Prince Harry even came to her defense when he urged the press to stop writing offensive articles about his then-girlfriend.

Two years later, the couple tied the knot. And the backlash that they’ve been receiving just worsened.

As such, in January, Prince Harry and Markle announced their decision to quit The Firm. And the queen gave them her blessing.
