Queen Elizabeth sparked health fears months ago after one tabloid claimed that she suffered a heart attack and only has months to live.
In April, National Enquirer claimed that the queen was rushed to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Even though Her Majesty seemed healthy while giving her televised address about the coronavirus pandemic back then, the tabloid still insisted that she was harboring a major health secret.
A source told the tabloid that the queen didn’t want the public to know that she suffered a health scare recently.
In fact, she also took some time before she told the royal family about what happened to her.
The insider also said that the queen didn’t want the world to know that she’s dying because everyone’s going through a tough time due to the pandemic.
“Her Majesty’s heart is failing badly and she was given months, maybe only weeks to live. It was a terrible blow, but Elizabeth took it in stride and brushed off all talk of canceling the broadcast. She said duty must always come first,” the source said.
Months later, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that the queen is still up and about at 94.
And it’s also evident that she’s healthy. In fact, she has been making public appearances every now and then even amid the pandemic.
On Christmas Day, the monarch also addressed the nation with her televised broadcast. And she appears happy and healthy in the recorded clip.
Additionally, if the queen only had months to live back in April, she should’ve already passed away by now.
But the fact that she’s still alive and doing well proves that the tabloid just made up stories about her health months ago.
National Enquirer is known for concocting dubious claims about the royal family, particularly the queen and Prince Philip.
In October, the tabloid claimed that the royal couple’s marriage collapsed after 73 years.
A source claimed that the queen and Prince Philip are not on the same page when it comes to their son, Prince Andrew. As such, they couldn’t help but argue nonstop.
In December 2019, the tabloid also alleged that the queen was dying. And one of her dying wishes was for Prince William, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Meghan Markle to heal their rift.
In May of last year, the tabloid once again claimed that the queen was dying. As such, she gave Prince William her blessing to seize the throne from Prince Charles.
