Prince William, reportedly, extended an olive branch at Prince Harry after learning about Meghan Markle’s miscarriage.
While speaking with Woman UK, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe said that Prince William wanted to be there for his brother even though they’re miles apart.
And during this phone call, the siblings had the opportunity to talk about Princess Diana’s Panorama interview.
Larcombe said that Prince William and Prince Harry are concerned that Princess Diana was tricked into giving an interview with Martin Bashir in 1995.
And when the investigation progresses, Prince William and Prince Harry could release a joint statement about the matter.
Last month, Prince William said that the investigations into Princess Diana’s Panorama interview are a step in the right direction.
Princess Diana’s younger brother, Charles, Earl Spencer, was the one that encouraged the BBC to look into the issue.
According to reports, Bashir tricked Princess Diana into giving the controversial interview after he showed her fake bank statements.
Bashir also convinced the Princess of Wales that there was someone in the palace that was trying to destroy her.
As such, Princess Diana felt the need to air her side of the story. And she revealed during the interview that Prince Charles was having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.
Princess Diana also revealed that she suffered from postpartum depression and bulimia.
However, the late royal’s revelations didn’t sit well with Queen Elizabeth. Shortly after the interview, the queen urged Prince Charles and Princess Diana to divorce.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince Harry also made headlines this week after it was revealed that they already exchanged presents with their respective wives and kids.
According to The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent their presents to the Cambridge household shortly after they went shopping at an exclusive boutique near their home in Santa Barbara.
Daily Mail confirmed that Prince William and Middleton reciprocated the gesture by sending the couple and their son, Archie Christmas gifts.
While speaking with the publication, royal author Andrew Morton confirmed the news and said that Prince Harry will also call Prince Charles and Prince William before Christmas.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex cannot fly to the United Kingdom for the holidays because of the coronavirus pandemic.
They will be celebrating the holidays in Santa Barbara with Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, and Archie.
Prince William and Middleton will celebrate Christmas with their children at Anmer Hall.
