Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s marriage is allegedly hanging by a thread.
In its Dec. 28 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Prince Harry managed to convince Markle to go to couple’s therapy with him.
And if she didn’t, it’s unlikely for their less than three-year marriage to survive.
A source told the tabloid that Prince Harry is starting to regret his decision to move to the United States and be away from his family.
After all, the Duke of Sussex feels like a prisoner in his $14 million home in Santa Barbara.
“He fears he’s made a terrible mistake, but Meghan’s ordering him to man up and grab this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make millions away from the monarchy’s suffocating shadow,” the source said.
The insider also said that Prince Harry and Markle’s fighting came to a head just before the holidays when the former told the latter that he’s feeling homesick.
Prince Harry also told his wife that he feels guilty for abandoning his elderly grandparents and Prince William.
However, the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t care less about how Prince Harry feels. But Markle still agreed to go to couple’s therapy with her husband.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle are also fighting over their publicity.
Prince Harry wants to live a more private life in the United States, but Markle is determined to stay in the spotlight.
In fact, the Suits alum has been accused of masterminding the video calls they made to charities in London and the U.S. recently.
She and Prince Harry also delivered food to the needy and made sure to gain publicity from it.
In the same way, Markle wrote about her miscarriage to gain sympathy from the public.
And the source said that she’s turning everything into the Meghan Show, and Prince Harry feels like he’s just a side act.
All of these things are, allegedly, recipes for marital disaster and it’s only a matter of time before the couple divorces.
However, there is no truth to the tabloid’s claims.
Markle wrote about her miscarriage last month to help those who also experienced the same hardship.
And she didn’t make her volunteer work last summer all about herself. Rather, she and Prince Harry went out in Los Angeles to help those in need amid the coronavirus pandemic.
As for rumors that Prince Harry and Markle are divorcing, they couldn’t be farther from the truth.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been showing a united front amid all their struggles.
