It is no secret that Kylie Jenner is one of the biggest celebrity turned business mogul in the past century. The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister has proved that she is a force to be reckoned with.
She has again proved that she is the best sister after news revealed that she had topped the highest-paid celebrity of 2020, followed by another family member, brother-in-law Kanye West.
Apparently, the ‘lipkit’ mogul has earned a whopping $600 million just this year, which was then followed by Kanye’s $170 million earnings.
Reports have revealed that a majority of Jenner’s earning comes from her selling 51% of her Kylie Cosmetics Company to publicly trade Coty.
This, allegedly, puts the reality TV star’s net worth to $700 million. Kylie Jenner was branded by Forbes Magazine as the youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire in 2019 but has since retracted this claim after it was revealed Jenner faked the reports of her earnings last year.
On the other hand, Kanye West, despite only being second to her sister-in-law, is now, reportedly, worth over $1.3 Billion.
The Grammy award-winning rapper signed a high-profile deal with Adidas this year, which has been the source of his earnings in 2020.
West has disputed Forbes’ claims that he is only worth over a billion, saying in his past tweets that they have wrongly reported his real worth. The ‘Blood on the Leaves’ rapper claims that he is worth more than $3 Billion.
There are reports brewing that West is, allegedly, not too happy with the newest list believing that he has earned more than the reported $170 million.
Although he apparently does not claim that he earned more than Jenner, there is some bitterness from his camp.
As much as tabloids want West and Jenner to have a row over who should be on the top of the list, it is most likely that West is supportive of his sister-in-law’s status.
Most importantly, they are the only two members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to be in the top 10 of the list. Kim Kardashian, who had a major win on her Skim’s line, still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to revenue compared to Jenner’s solid company.
Others on the list include tennis star Roger Federer who earned $106.3 million this year and getting the distinction of being the highest-paid athlete of the year, topping football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
