Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are, allegedly, trying to have another baby.
In its Dec. 21 issue, New Idea claimed that Perry wants her children to be close in age.
As such, now that her eldest daughter, Daisy, is 3 months old, Perry wants to give her a sister.
However, since she’s still recovering from her recent pregnancy, the singer doesn’t think that her body is ready to have another child.
As such, the “Roar” singer is thinking about hiring a surrogate.
However, Bloom doesn’t want to hire a surrogate because he wants to conceive their baby naturally.
Before Daisy was born, Perry spoke with Entertainment Tonight about becoming a mom.
Back then, she said that she’s ready to have a child because the time is right. Years ago, the singer admitted that she wasn’t keen on having a child because the timing didn’t feel right.
Perry also said that she worked to become ready to get pregnant. And she’s really ready to have a child.
However, Perry’s response never indicated that she wants multiple children that are close in age.
As such, it’s evident that the tabloid is just speculating on Perry and Bloom’s baby plans.
Additionally, the couple also has yet to tie the knot. So, it’s more likely for Perry and Bloom to get married first before having another baby.
Meanwhile, there has also been a slew of rumors surrounding Perry and Bloom’s relationship.
In April 2019, National Enquirer claimed that Bloom’s ex, Miranda Kerr wasn’t thrilled to know that he and Perry already got engaged.
As such, the supermodel wanted to get her revenge on the Australian actor by getting pregnant.
A source told the tabloid that Kerr also wanted Bloom to know that she has moved on from him that’s why she has decided to have another baby.
Last May, Woman’s Day claimed that Perry gave Bloom an ultimatum to stop partying.
A source claimed that the couple has been fighting since they got back in Los Angeles after heading to Australia and Europe separately.
The insider also said that Perry and Bloom were thrown together 24/7 and they weren’t used to being around each other all the time.
In September, WHO also claimed that the couple has been bickering ahead of Daisy’s birth.
Perry was feeling anxious throughout her pregnancy and having Bloom around hasn’t been of much help.
A source claimed that it wouldn’t be surprising if Perry and Bloom would call it quits while the singer is in labor.
