Queen Elizabeth is, reportedly, heartbroken over not seeing the royal family over the holidays, most especially Prince Harry and Archie.
While speaking with Express, royal biographer Penny Junor said that the queen most likely feels sad because she can’t reunite with the Sussexes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the same way, Prince Harry will also feel devastated over not seeing his loved ones in the United Kingdom this year.
After all, Junor said that the Duke of Sussex has a wonderful relationship with his cousins. And he also adores his grandparents, but he can’t bond with them like he normally would.
But despite the distance, Junor said that Prince Harry will most likely call the royal family on the phone or via Zoom to greet them on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, Markle’s previous revelation about how she celebrates Christmas is being revisited amid the ongoing claims that she and Prince Harry are snubbing the royal family.
During her interview with Grazia, the Duchess of Sussex said that she loves to prepare meals for her guests on Christmas Day.
Markle also said that she likes breaking with tradition by celebrating Christmas with her friends rather than her family.
Prince Harry’s wife also recommended that guests should bring one dish each and they will all share it at the buffet table.
Back then, Markle’s family dynamic was still relatively unknown to her fans.
It was only after she dated Prince Harry that royal fans learned that she has a complicated relationship with her dad and half-siblings.
Markle’s parents divorced when she was still very young. And she grew up under the care of her mom, Doria Ragland.
But at one point, Ragland gave Markle to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., because she had to work.
Markle and Thomas used to be very close. But just before her wedding to Prince Harry, the father and daughter had a falling out.
As of late, Markle and her dad still haven’t resolved their issues.
In fact, Thomas has been constantly scrutinizing Markle and Prince Harry during his interviews. In return, he’s been accused of cashing in on the couple.
Last month, reports revealed that Thomas and Markle wouldn’t have to face each other in court in October 2021.
Markle filed a lawsuit against Mail on Sunday after claiming that the publication breached her privacy for publishing her private letters to her dad.
A judge, later on, said that Thomas’s feelings are not essential to the case so there’s no need for him to appear in court.
