Meghan Markle was seen wearing an 'evil eye' necklace twice now.
The Daily Mail reports that the first time she wore this type of necklace was during her South Africa tour with her husband Prince Harry last year. And just last month, she apparently wore a similar pendant while on a video call with British youngster in her role as a patron for Smart Works. The necklaces are more than likely from the brand Edge of Ember, and it is actually called the Visionary Charm Necklace. The pendant of the necklace is an evil eye charm and si advertised as something that can protect whoever wears it from negative vibes.
Now, the Duchess of Sussex may just be a fan of the aesthetics of the jewelry but one can also wonder whether she believes that the charm will truly protect her. The first time she wore something like that is during her South Africa trip last year. And there have already been speculations that it is actually the trip the solidified the couple's desire to be a different kind of royal and to step back from their duties as senior members of the royal family.
And now she wore a similar one in a video call last March 27, where she advised a youngster on how to ace an interview. This was about a few days before she and Harry officially left their post and transitioned to a new chapter in their lives. She made the video call from the comforts of her new home in LA, where it looks like she and Harry will be based for the time being.
They traveled to the US from Canada just before the borders closed last March. And though they have kept to themselves for a while, eventually they have been photographed out and about. They not only walked their dogs but even took time to volunteer to drive meals for the sick through Project Angel Food.
At present, they are probably preparing for the birthday celebration of their child, Archie who will be turning one soon. The couple's plans of going back to the UK to celebrate were thwarted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, they will just quietly stay at home and celebrate, most likely with Meghan's mother Doria. But, according to Mirror, they will be releasing new pictures of Archie Harrison so fans of the couple and their baby can look forward to that.
