Both Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari seem to be moving on from their marriage quite nicely as they have now been seen with other people. Just recently, Cutler was seen hanging out with one of Cavallari’s former employees.
Us Weekly reports that the 37-year-old Cutler shared a photo on his Instagram account that showed him not just with his friend Mark Block but also with Shannon Ford. Ford is Cavallari’s former head of social media, whom she fired on a season of her reality show, Very Cavallari.
Of course, social media users were quick to jump on the juicy information, leaving comments on Cutler’s Instagram account. One expressed amazement at the “tea being spilled” while another said that Cutler was “savage.”
As recounted by E! Online, Ford’s firing was something that had long been brewing. Cavallari hired Ford during the first season of Very Cavallari but was all set to fire him from his job as social media head of her jewelry company Uncommon James by the start of season two.
In the memorable scene, Cavallari sits Ford down and tells him that his mistakes at work were “single-handedly,” costing Cavallari’s company money. Cavallari also said that she had been defending and making excuses for him but it was now time for her to let go of Ford.
Ford insisted during the episode that his mistakes at the job were “human error.”
While Cutler is hanging out and possibly dating Ford, Cavallari has also been seen out and about with 37-year-old comedian Jeff Dye six months after divorcing his wife. The two were seen in Chicago back in October and were reported making out at a bar.
Aside from being seen at a bar, Cavallari and Dye were also, reportedly, at Fulton Market, being close and giggly. The two were also said to have headed to the Hoxton Hotel. Cavallari has already denied the relationship in an Instagram live, saying that they are only good friends.
Before their divorce, Cutler and Cavallari had been married for 10 years. By the time their marriage ended, the couple had three children -- eight-year-old son Camden, six-year-old son Jaxon, and four-year-old daughter Saylor.
At the time of their divorce, both Cutler and Cavallari said that the decision to separate was a “loving” one and that they still respected and loved one another. The couple also has the dubious record of having the first celebrity divorce during the lockdowns brought about by the global coronavirus pandemic.
