Camilla Parker Bowles is allegedly encouraging Prince Charles to give his only sister, Princess Anne the boot after Queen Elizabeth dies. According to Globe, Prince Charles and Camilla recently learned that the queen doesn’t have long to live.
This means that Prince Charles will soon be crowned as queen. And Camilla’s long wait to become the queen consort will finally come to an end.
A source told the tabloid that even before the queen’s passing, Camilla has already been encouraging Prince Charles to get rid of his sister. After all, the heir to the throne wants a slimmed-down monarchy.
If it were up to Camilla, she would have also gotten rid of Prince William and Kate Middleton because they’re her competition.
But she can’t allegedly do anything with the fact that Prince William will also become king one day. As such, she needs to suck it up. However, the Duchess of Cornwall thinks that she can do something about Princess Anne because the royal family doesn’t allegedly need her.
Even though Princess Royal is one of the hardest working members of the royal family, Camilla believes that the queen is the only one that wants her involved in royal duties and engagements.
Meanwhile, the source claimed that Camilla is very confident about her position in the royal family.
Not only is she the wife of Prince Charles, but she also managed to destroy the other relationships within The Firm.
Years ago, Camilla became instrumental in destroying Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage.
She has also allegedly been backstabbing Prince William and Middleton.
However, none of these claims made by the tabloid are true. Camilla is in no position to ask Prince Charles to get rid of Princess Anne. After all, Princess Anne has become one of the most reliable members of the royal family throughout the past decades.
Camilla isn’t also looking forward to becoming queen consort. Clarence House previously confirmed that she will be styled as a princess consort.
In related news, it seems Globe is pitting Princess Anne and Camilla against each other following the release of The Crown Season 4.
Some of the scenes featured the love triangle between the two female royals and Andrew Parker Bowles.
At one point, Princess Anne (Erin Doherty) told Andrew that she’s aware of where she stands because the latter wants to be with Camilla.
In real life, Andrew and Camilla tied the knot in the 1970s but their marriage was short-lived.
