According to Us Weekly, Markle seems really interested in knowing more about the royal family even after she quit The Firm in January.
A source claimed that Markle started watching the hit Netflix series. And she’s looking forward to seeing the controversial fourth season.
The insider said that Prince Harry is aware that his wife has been watching the series. But he refuses to join her because he’s allegedly not interested in seeing it.
As of late, there is still no confirmation that Markle really watches The Crown. But there are some members of the royal family that watch the series.
According to Hello! Magazine, Princess Eugenie is a huge fan of the show.
During a previous interview, Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter said that she likes the music and story of The Crown. She also thinks the series is filmed beautifully. And she feels proud to watch it.
Actress Vanessa Kirby previously told Vanity Fair that Queen Elizabeth also watches the crown.
Kirby, who plays the role of Princess Margaret, overheard Princess Eugenie tell another guest that her grandmother loves the show.
According to Express, Prince Edward was the one who got his mom hooked on the series. Prince Edward's family reportedly has a Netflix account so they asked the queen to watch The Crown.
But come Season 2, the queen’s thoughts on The Crown reportedly changed.
According to a palace insider, the monarch felt that the way the royal family was portrayed in Season 2 was inaccurate.
More specifically, the queen disliked the scenes where Prince Philip was depicted as insensitive and unsympathetic to Prince Charles’ needs.
The Crown star Olivia Colman confirmed that Prince William hasn’t watched the series. The Duke of Cambridge told the actress himself when they met at an event.
Meanwhile, the fourth season of The Crown has received a slew of mixed reviews from the royal family.
According to reports, Prince William isn’t thrilled with how Prince Charles is depicted in the new episodes.
