Blake Shelton took to his Instagram account on Thanksgiving to share an adorable selfie of him and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. This loved up post comes weeks after the duo announced their engagement on their social media platforms.
Beaming at the camera, the couple reflected their year alongside the photo in a cryptic message referencing their recently announced engagement. Noting that the year has been quite challenging for everyone in the caption section, Shelton pointed out that there's still a lot to be thankful for.
Fans reacted to the sweet post, wishing the couple a happy Thanksgiving, and some pointing out that they looked charming in the snap. Touting them as the cutest couple, another commenter wished Shelton, Stefani, and their families happy Thanksgiving, per Hello Magazine.
While details about their plans are few and far between, The Voice coaches Shelton and Stefani made a special appearance virtually at a restaurant. The Instagram account of Ole Red posted a video of Blake participating in the Battle of the Bands virtually to wish everybody happy Thanksgiving.
Further in the video, Blake turns the camera to Stefani, adding that they have started their cooking. He urged everyone to be safe and wished good luck to all the banders' battle, E! Online reported.
Aside from the restaurant attendees, The Blake Shelton-inspired restaurant expressed gratitude towards the singers for joining them in their celebration. Ole Red wished Gwen and Blake good with their Thanksgiving dinner.
The celebrity announced their engagement back in Oct. after five years of dating. The news came after the duo spent lockdown together in the country singer's Oklahoma ranch, along with Gwen's family. They were holed up during the quarantine with Gwen's brother and three sons, Apollo, Zuma, and Kingston, who she shares with ex-husband and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.
Although their life in Oklahoma went at a slower pace, Gwen and Blake managed to record the music video for their popular duet, "Happy Anywhere." During his recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Blake revealed that the No Doubt alum's brother Todd helped them film the video.
In an earlier interview with Billboard, Blake said the "Hollaback Girl" saved his life when he looks back at their love story. He was referencing the time when both went through their high-profile divorces from their musician partners. What do you think about Blake and Gwen's Thanksgiving photo?
