Despite being famous, he reflected on how the spotlight eventually makes you feel lonely. In an interview with Nancy O’Dell, the singer opened up about the latest music track of Justin Bieber, Lonely.
"I can really relate because I've been through it, and I came out through the other end of the tunnel, and I admire Justin because he's changed his life," Osmond explained. The singer further praised the pop star for focusing on his personal life and building a healthy relationship with his wife, Hailey Rhode Bieber.
Recently, Bieber celebrated his wife's birthday and revealed that he is completely obsessed with his 24-year-old wife. He penned down his heart and said that he wishes to grow old with her, and even after being married, it is difficult to accept the fact that she is his forever.
The couple recently completed their one-year anniversary, and even during the celebration, the Baby singer expressed his love and said that he feels lucky to be her husband. In the new track, Bieber recalled how people have been criticizing him throughout his childhood and teenage while keeping track of his moves.
However, he mentioned in the song that he felt absolutely lonely despite having way too much attention. Moreover, he noted in the song that getting fame and money early in life has a price to pay. Osmond could relate to the song as he confessed to being down easily when he was a young star.
Osmond explained that it feels like a prison when they can't go out like common people, they can't do anything, they can't even show their face. Although whenever they step out as celebrities, there are fans screaming your name, and then after a while, you go back to the silence.
He recalled how he used to cry in the corner of his house because of loneliness. The singer said that he could relate to everything the pop star has gone through during his teenage life. He thanked his wife, Debbie Glenn, who dated him secretly at that time.
