Scant details have come out about the divorce proceedings between actors Clark Gregg and Jennifer Grey ever since they announced their separation back in July. But now, reports are coming out as to how they will be dividing their assets.
Page Six says that all residuals from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing as well as from the 2004 sequel Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights will be going to the 60-year-old Grey. The actress was the lead in the 1984 film, where she co-starred alongside Patrick Swayze.
Other details of the settlement revealed by Page Six include the agreement between the former couple to share ownership of their New York home for a six-month period. However, Grey will be the only one to stay in the home. Any income made from selling the home will be split between the two.
An equalization payment of $15,144 will also be paid by 58-year-old Gregg to Grey alongside the waiving of spousal support from Grey. Expenses for the 18-year-old daughter Stella will also be shared until she turns 24.
Us Magazine also reports that 50 percent of Gregg’s earnings from his Agent Coulson role will go to Grey. His role as Agent Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is arguably Gregg’s most famous one, having been included in movies like the Avengers series, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Captain Marvel. Coulson was also the lead in several seasons of the television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Grey will also get part of any earnings Gregg makes should he decide to return to the role of Agent Coulson in the future. Ten percent of any feature film earnings Gregg makes as Agent Coulson will go to Grey, while five percent will go to Grey if Gregg reprises the role in a television series.
The former couple announced their separation back in July on their Instagram accounts. In their similar statements, both Gregg and Grey say that the separation was amicable and that they still love and care for each other.
The two also said that they had already been living away from each other since the start of 2020 and that the divorce was just a way to formalize their separation.
Aside from their 19-year marriage, Gregg and Grey have also worked on a number of films. They starred together in Road to Christmas, a 2006 Lifetime movie. They have also made appearances on the ongoing television series The Conners.
Aside from Gregg and Grey, another couple whose separation demands have been made public is Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi. Jayne is asking Girardi to pay for her attorney’s fees as well as asking her legal team to see if any she has any claims on properties she and Girardi own.
