Recently, Jeremih’s family opened up about the singer's condition as they issued an official statement. The family told CNN that COVID-19 is not something one should take lightly. Moreover, it is essential for people to quarantine as soon as they realize being infected by the ongoing pandemic.

Initially, producer Hitmaka, Chance the Rapper, and 50 Cent begin to ask their fans to pray for Jeremih while they didn't reveal what happened to him. It was only the 50 Cent rapper who gave some insight about the health and said that coronavirus is real.
On the other hand, Hitmaka took Instagram for asking everyone to pray and said that the post had been made with the blessings of Jeremih's mother. Chance the Rapper and Jeremih have collaborated in the past. He also requested everyone on social media to pray.
