Jennifer Lopez opened up about her struggles and depression phase amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The 51-year-old recently appeared on El Zol 107.9, which is a Spanish-language radio station, and spoke about how she looked at the current scenario.
The actress and singer noted that the COVID-19 pandemic wasn't easy for her, while she acknowledged that everyone had gone through the same at some point. She recalled the moments when she was scared and depressed, thinking about the future and what will happen next.
She explained that she had many moments when she felt bad, along with her family, including kids. However, the actress who won the People's Choice Award this week said that it is important to get up and work on something when you feel bad about the day or at that particular moment.
The actress suggested that one should do a home workout, cook something, or anything that keeps the person going further. During the interview, the actress was asked about her family and children about coping up with the pandemic.
Lopez recalled one incident when her daughter, Emme, came into her bedroom and started crying. The Boy Next Door star revealed that her 12-year-old asked her why it is happening as she was missing her friends.
The actress said that during that time, there were a lot of things her children were getting exposed to, such as protests across the nation. Lopez explained to her daughter that things need to be changed, and when such big changes take place, it sometimes hurts. However, the fiance of Alex Rodriguez noted that eventually, everything would turn out to be good.
"Sometimes you have to live those moments, and you have to stay strong and grateful in those moments because we have so much. We have our health, we’re together, we have love,” she added. A couple of months ago, Rodriguez also opened up about the pandemic and how he and his children are blending with Lopez's family.
Firstly, he thanked me for being healthy during the lockdown while he acknowledged that many people are suffering because of medical issues. He noted how the pandemic helped him to value those little things in his life and how he learned to appreciate everything he has in his life.
Moreover, he revealed how amazing it feels to be home for such a long time. He disclosed playing various games with kids such as Monopoly, checkers, chess, and Wiffle ball. He highlighted the best part of the day is having dinner together.
