The ongoing debate of whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘HRH’ titles should be reinstated has become a big problem for the royal family.
As the second ‘Sandringham Summit’ comes closer and closer, the palace is taking action as early as now on whether to give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle their high ranking titles again.
The Queen has the last say on this as she is the only one who can remove and reassign a title to a royal. In the past few months, the dipping popularity of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is a major issue for the royal palace and they have urged the Queen not to give Meghan and Harry their title back.
Apparently, new reports are saying that the Queen is rethinking this forced concept on her and is planning to bring back Harry and Meghan’s ‘HRH’ title out of ‘goodwill.’
This will come as a shocking surprise as the Queen is rumored to announce this on her platinum Jubilee.
In a poll commissioned by Express UK on their news website, they asked their readers what they think about the Queen reinstating the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ‘HRH’ Title.
A whopping 94% voted that the Queen should no longer give the titles to the Sussex. Only 6 percent or 500 of the readers sided with the Duke and Duchess’s case.
There were also comments left by those who voted, with one saying that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not deserve a goodwill gesture from the monarch.
While another reader said, “No Way. They made their choice, they can stay away”. At the same time, others called the couple ‘obnoxious’ and disloyal to the Queen and the nation.
The royal pair continue to live their private lives in California nowadays, and they have been concentrating on their commercial ventures. Recently, they were called out by royal experts and fans regarding their massive deal with Netflix.
The call-out comes to light after Netflix’s show ‘The Crown,’ which portrays the personal lives of the royal family, was branded ‘offensive’ and ‘false.’
Furthermore, the couple has been criticized for their association with the production company despite depicting an unjust portrayal of the royal family.
Meghan and Prince Harry are still working with the company and are unlikely to back out from their $150 million deal. They are already in pre-production for their first project and it is alleged to be an animated series about Woman’s empowerment.
