The former rumored couple and lead stars of The Vampire Diaries series, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev, noticed the resemblance of the 38-year-old American actor and director to pop star Justin Bieber.
Paul Wesley's throwback photo is making headlines
In a Hollywood Life report, Paul, who played Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries, looked a lot like the Holy singer Justin. Fans started to notice the resemblance when throwback photos of the two stars holding a baby surfaces online.
Indeed, Justin and Paul looked like twin brothers in the said photos, tipped by @commentsbycelebs on its official Instagram account. The actor jokingly commented on the silly comparison, writing, "He's my son," referring Justin.
Without the fans knowing, Nina, who played as Elena Gilbert in the hit series, jumped to the cheeky wagon by leaving a silly remark to Paul's comment in the photo. She wrote, "Our love child," apparently referring to the "offspring" brought by their relationship (in the series, or not?).
Nina used the hashtags #proudparents, #callusback, and #wemissyouson, adding laughter to the happening.

According to People, the side by side photo comparison of Paul and the Canadian singer's throwback photos instantly went viral after it surfaced online. Shortly after E! News posted the said photo, Paul's attention was caught, leading the actor now turned director to comment.
Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev's friendship
Furthermore, the fun happening between Paul and Nina proves their undying friendship, per Cheat Sheet. Despite the actress not liking Paul before, where she revealed to the Directionally Challenged podcast, the two just gifted their beloved fans a treat.
"Paul and I didn't get along at the beginning of the show," Nina said to the podcast. She then recalls the time after the show aired that people keep coming after her asking if she and the actor are dating in real life because everyone was convinced of their sweet chemistry.
However, they both despised each other, and it is a shock for her that everyone couldn't see that. But instead, the viewers only see the love between the two of them. Nina then shared that they despising each other only took a short time, and after around five months of shooting, they got along very well.
Since the two stars departed from each other after the finale of The Vampire Diaries, where Nina left the show in 2015 but eventually appeared on the finale episode, the two kept their friendship.
