The Kardashian-Jenner family has been involved in multiple high-profile relationships, with most of them not lasting too long. Khloe Kardashian, who repeatedly finds herself in the headline due to her relationship, has neither confirmed nor denied reconciliation rumors surrounding her and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
While Khloe refuses to get back with Thompson citing his previous infidelity, one of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's former boyfriend has revealed that dating her wasn't quite a pleasant experience either. NBA player James Harden has finally opened up about dating the E! reality star for a year.
Kardashian and Harden were in an unconventional relationship, as they started seeing each other in 2015, during the same time when the Good American founder was still divorcing Lamar Odom. When Odom was taken to the hospital due to an overdose, Khloe paused her divorce but continued dating Harden.
Eventually, Kardashian and Harden decided to call it quits, but it looks like they have totally different reasons behind their split. In an episode of Kocktails With Khloé, KoKo revealed why she let the basketball player go.
Kardashian said she was living in L.A., while Harden was in Houston, Texas during their relationship. Kardashian revealed that she never complained about it being a long-distance relationship, insisting that they need to be monogamous, E! News reported. She said that she told Hayden that since they live far away, they should each other when they see each other.
Harden, on the other hand, insisted on being monogamous and fully committed with her, though Khloe offered up a different solution. She also suggested that some cheating may have gone on, noting that he wanted to be committed but wasn't really committed. In other words, she attributed his infidelity to them, calling it quits.
However, she wasn't the only one disappointed by how the relationship went down. Harden made several revelations about her after the breakup, telling Sports Illustrated that he disliked the relationship and describing it as the worst year of his life. He told SI that he felt their breakup was for a reason, adding that he wasn't getting anything out of it except for his name and face getting out there.
He went on to say that though their relationship wasn't uncomfortable, he didn't feel like himself while dating Khloe, per BET. It is hardly surprising that Harden and Kardashian are not good friends post-breakup, but things got worse between them when he was spotted with Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods.
