Netflix, finally, confirmed that Emily In Paris Season 2 is happening. The American comedy-drama streaming television series caught the attention of many when it debuted on Oct. 2. However, just like other popular shows, the Lily Collins-led series faced numerous recoils from viewers over the age of Emily Cooper to the depiction of the so-called “City of Love.” So, what should fans expect?
Emily In Paris Season 2 spoilers and predictions
Series creator Darren Star, previously, revealed to E! News some interesting details about the imminent Emily In Paris Season 2. He stated that Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) would have to make “surprising tough choices” in the second installment.
Star added that the Netflix series would continue to tackle Emily’s expectations of how things are, including how everything in Paris is “challenging her American worldview.” He even stated that there are a lot of potential plots for the lead character in Emily In Paris Season 2 – something that fans should, really, watch out for.
Actor Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, told Cosmopolitan that anything could happen between Emily, Camille (Camille Razat), and his character in Emily In Paris Season 2. Most, if not all, fans can recall that Emily had an intimate encounter with Gabriel and accidentally kissed Camille in one of the episodes.
It should be noted that Camille and Gabriel are an item in the series. Lily Collins, for her part, suggested to Vogue U.K. that Emily In Paris Season 2 could “create more love triangle drama.”
Emily In Paris Season 2 cast
Aside from Collins, Bravo, and Razat, other personalities expected to return in the forthcoming new installment, per Daily Express, include Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Samuel Arnold as Julien, and Bruno Gouery as Luc. It remains unclear if there would be new additions to the main cast.
Collins, in her official Instagram account, reshared some posts of her friends after Netflix confirmed Emily In Paris Season 2. British author Jay Shetty reposted the actress’ clip and wrote “so excited for season 2” as a caption. British-Pakistani-American fashion designer Tan France, also, posted a message from Netflix and put “I can’t wait for Season 2 of @emilyinparis” as a caption.
