Princess Charlotte is Prince William and Kate Middleton’s second child and only daughter. She created a new history in the British Royal Family after being born on May 2, 2015. 

Princess Charlotte has an elder brother Prince George who is six-year-old. Her younger brother Prince Louis turned two recently. She is the first princess in the British Royal Family who can benefit after the succession laws in the country were amended in 2011. 

In the past, the sons had a higher claim over the daughters in the succession line irrespective of their age. Before the new rule came into effect, even the 60-year-old Princess Anne fell behind in the succession line after the birth of her two younger brothers Princess Andrew and Prince Edward. It happened although she was the second child of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II.

However, Princess Charlotte has been luckier as the antiquated British law made an important announcement even before she was born. It was agreed by the leaders of the Commonwealth to alter the British succession laws to ensure that sons, as well as, daughters enjoy the same right to the throne. 

The new law means that the little princess retains being fourth in the line of succession just after her elder brother Prince George. She was not pushed back after the birth of her younger brother Prince Louis in 2018.

The princess will be 5-year-old this Saturday, Although, Charlotte is very young, a body language expert said that she has started showing strong leadership skills. Alison Ward, an energy reader did an analysis of the recent footage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s daughter while she clapped with her family.

The expert has shared some fabulous insights after watching this clip. She felt as if the young princess “couldn't wait to get out front to do her job of starting off the clapping for all our key workers and front line people.” Ward also added that it seems that Prince William and Kate Middleton have already started teaching their daughter to do her job well and to serve the nation, Daily Express reports.

Ward added that Princess Charlotte even looked behind to check whether her entire family is “doing a good job of clapping and following her lead.” Her calm behavior is an indication that she is being brought up to become a “strong female leader.”

Meanwhile, according to another report by Daily Express, the little princess will have a royal Zoom party to celebrate her upcoming birthday. Princess Charlotte will become 5-year-old this Saturday. Despite the COVID-19 lockdown, her parents Prince William and Kate Middleton have planned to celebrate her birthday with games and a cake.
