Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa reflected on the time they spent with each other over the years on Live With Kelly and Ryan. The on-screen hosts revealed that they had developed an amazing bond between them. It is a privilege to work with one another.
The chemistry between the Keeping Up With the Kardashians executive producer and the Cheaper By the Dozen star is something fans can't get enough of. In an interview with ET, Ripa got emotional and praised her co-host for being a great friend throughout the show.
She further called him fun to work with as he is a joyful, generous, humble, and extremely authentic person. Ripa noted that what viewers get to see on-screen is exactly how he is behind the scenes, something unique in the entertainment industry.
Recently, Ripa shared a clip that is deleted-now in which she exposed the host jokingly as she called out for being a "morning douche." The 50-year-old host joined the show in 2017 and rumors started to begin that the on-screen duo isn't lined up with each other backstage.
However, the rumors of them having a cold war got debunked, per Gossip Cop. In fact, an outlet claimed that the staff is unhappy with both the host as they left New York City due to the ongoing pandemic. However, the story was also debunked by a close source.
In the recent interview, both the hosts were all praises for each other. Ripa said that Seacrest is always full of enthusiasm, joyfulness, authenticity, and professionalism. Seacrest said with teary eyes that he is trying to fight back his tears at the moment.
"We come in, and we literally have our first cup of coffee together and catch up with each other as friends do, and that's the dynamic we hope we have with people who are watching as well," he explained why it is more than just a television show for him.
The host also reflected on the tragic loss of Alex Trebek, who passed away on Nov. 8 at the age of 80 while fighting with pancreatic cancer. Seacrest shed light on how Jeopardy! Host created an impact on his personal life and career when he was just 19-year-old.
Seacrest also took his Instagram to pay tribute to the longest-running game show host and said that he is just like any other family member to him because he used to watch him every night.
