Were Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston at loggerheads over the former’s film The Eternals? At least that was what a tabloid claimed around a year ago.
In an interview, the Leprechaun actress said that she did not want to be part of any Marvel film as she thought such movies were “diminishing” the film industry. A magazine used this interview to write that Jen wanted to attack Angie through those words.
A source pointed out that the Friends alum has never been fond of these fantasy and action-packed films. However, it was surprising to see her criticizing them as Angie has started shooting for her first movie with the Marvel studio then.
The unnamed insider felt convinced that Jen was taking some vendetta as she has always detested the Salt actress for snatching Brad Pitt from her. However, the truth seems to be quite different than what the magazine insinuated.
Jen was asked whether she wanted to be a part of a Marvel film, and she responded accordingly. When Jen’s spokesperson was contacted for comments, the report was dismissed as ridiculous, Gossip Cop reports.
The Morning Show actress is yet to comment on Marvel films since that interview took place. The Eternals are slated to hit theaters in November 2021. Ever since Jolie has started collaborating with Marvels, a slew of rumors has started against her.
There was another report on how Angie has resorted to witchcraft so that she could defeat Pitt in their custody battle. Simply because she had portrayed a witch's role in a film does not mean that she is into such practices in her real life.
Likely, Jennifer Aniston was simply answering an innocent question. There is a high chance that Jen was unaware that Angelina Jolie was working in a Marvel film as there have been no teasers and very few panels of the films.
Meanwhile, the Office Space Star paid tribute to Chris McMillian, a celebrity hairdresser, on her Instagram page. The Friends alum posted a stunning selfie of herself and McMillan while they posed inside her home. Jennifer Aniston expressed her love for the stylist in the caption, Hello! Magazine reports.
On the other hand, both Jolie and Pitt have made it evident time and again how protective they are about their kids. Although they are fighting a bitter custody battle, several sources from both parties agree that the former power couple of Hollywood has the kids' best interests in their minds.
The exes' former security guard had now opened up that even when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were married, their strongest apprehension was their six kids and making sure that their safety was not compromised, Pinkvilla reports.
