Diane Keaton's daughter, Dexter Keaton, makes it official! Yes, Keaton's family is ready to welcome a new family member as Dexter got engaged with her boyfriend, Jordan White. The 74-year-old actress adopted Dexter in 1996 when she was 50-year-old and since then, she has been a doting mother.
The 25-year-old bride to be shared a bunch of pictures on her Instagram account about the big moment in her life when her boyfriend went down on his knee to purpose her for marriage. The couple has been dating over more than a year and they celebrated their first anniversary a couple of months back before White asked Dexter's hand for marriage on Nov. 7.
Dexter captioned the big moment pictures revealing that her day kicked off with "hail" while it came to an end with a diamond. She also added hashtags along with the caption, such as #wine #omg #fiance and #engaged.
She further said that it is unbelievable that she is engaged. Dexter's 20-year-old brother, Duke Keaton, also shared a series of Instagram stories to congratulate her sister and her to-be-husband. Duke also shared pictures of their engagement ceremony while tagging Dexter and his future brother-in-law.
The big moment took place in California at the Saarloos and Sons winery, which is situated in Los Olivos. Dexter posted another picture of her and White as they kissed and covered their face with wine glasses imprinted with Saarloos and Sons.
The couple toasted their glasses close to the camera lens while their kissing picture was blurred in the background. She also praised White on her Instagram story and said that he did an "amazing job" regarding the ring's design.
The couple shared the same pictures of their engagement along with the zoomed-in picture of their engagement ring that featured a diamond in the middle and two stones made of sapphire on the sides. White captioned the close-up ring and revealed that Dexter said, "oh my god" several times before saying yes.
White wrote a cute message on their first year anniversary and confessed that he has no clue why Dexter puts up with him. He jokingly said further that even he would not have dated himself. He noted the ongoing pandemic and said that they planned the dinner in the shelter style while he disclosed doing his own Loco Moco.
"Today I was thinking about this. I’m 73 and I think I’m the only one in my generation and maybe before who has been a single woman all her life," the actress reflected on being single. However, the Oscar-winning actress seems to be on cloud nine since her daughter got engaged.
